Miami is a school emerging for 5-star WR Jaime Ffrench

It was reported by On3 first that Miami is a school to look out for five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench.

Ffrench released his top three schools and Miami made the cut for  nations No. 18 overall prospect and 3rd ranked wide receiver in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The other teams that made the cut were LSU and Texas.

Last season with Mandarin, Ffrench was a dominant force, catching 62 passes for 1,247 yards (20.1 ypc) and 14 touchdowns as a junior. In his sophomore campaign, he hauled in 44 catches for 671 yards and five touchdowns.

Miami is the in-state school who has been pushing the hardest for him, and his relationship with receivers coach Kevin Beard is a big reason for them being in his top three.  According to On3.

“Coach Beard, he’s the main one,” Ffrench said. “He’s a great receiver coach, and he calls me a lot, and we stay on the phone for hours. He’s really like a dad figure in the recruiting process.” He told On3.

Could Miami pull this recruitment battle out?
