Miami making a little of a push for 2026 four-star DB DJ Williams

The Miami Hurricanes coaching staff has made a push for four-star 2026 defensive back DJ Williams.

It’s hard not to get super excited about where Miami is with 2026 defensive back recruiting. There are several big time players who have been trending in a great way for the Hurricanes. However the Canes need to get over a little hump over Notre Dame to be the leader.

From a recruiting rankings perspective, Williams has begun to see a rise over recent months. He now ranks as a four-star player by Rivals. They have him pegged as the No. 23 athlete in the 2026 recruiting class currently.

The 6-1, 160-pound athlete assumed a prominent role with Carrollwood Day as a sophomore, helping lead the team to a 8-2 overall record. On the defensive side of the football, Williams recorded 29 total tackles, two interceptions and two pass breakups.
