Miami MBB opens as 23.5-point favorite vs. NJIT

Miami goes into its season-opening matchup vs. NJIT as an overwhelming favorite — 23.5-point favorites, to be exact.

The opening lines are out for college basketball’s first string of games this week, starting with the Hurricanes on Monday vs. the Highlander. Early lines listed UM as a 23.5-point favorite, dropping a point leading up to tomorrow’s matchup.

The over/under opened at 143.5 points.

ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Miami a 95.4% chance to defeat NJIT to open the season.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET at Watsco Center, with the game broadcast will be on the ESPN+ app, or you can catch it on ACCNX.

The Hurricanes opened its exhibition schedule with a victory vs. TCNJ (111-54). Now, the real fun begins against the Highlanders on Monday.
