Miami MBB still receiving votes in AP, Coaches Polls
No major upsets atop the college basketball world means no significant movement in the rankings, at least in the top six. There was a flip-flop at Nos. 2 and 3, though, undefeated Houston swapping with Kansas to sit behind top-ranked Purdue. Beyond the Boilermakers, Cougars and Jayhawks, it’s still UConn at No. 4, Tennessee at No. 5 and Kentucky at No. 6.
From there, we’ve got a little bit of chaos. No. 7 Marquette dropped to 11 following its loss to unranked Seton Hall while No. 12 BYU and No. 13 Colorado State took major hits to No. 18 and No. 17 after losing to Cincinnati and Utah State, respectively. The bottom of the rankings are a mess, too, with No. 16 Clemson dropping to 21, No. 17 Florida Atlantic to 24, No. 20 Texas to No. 25 and No. 19 James Madison and No. 23 Providence out completely after taking losses since last week’s update.
As for the Hurricanes they are still receiving votes.
