Miami moves up in new AP Poll; Duke moves down to No. 9
The new AP Poll just dropped and the Canes moved up one spot from the preseason rankings that came out in mid-October. The Jayhawks remained in the top spot, earning 51 of the 61 first-place votes. Kansas is No. 1 in the new Coaches Poll as well, while the Canes moved up two spots at No. 11.
Three of Miami’s opponents are ranked in the AP Top 25 this week. Duke leads the way in the ACC, but they did fall 7 spots cause they lost to Arizona which is now up to No. 3. No. 17. Kentucky, and North Carolina are also ranked, with Virginia and Clemson also receiving votes.
