Miami offers 2026 OT Jared Smith, talks his first impressions on the Hurricanes

While after a great showing in front of Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes coaching staff at the Sunday’s prospect, offensive tackle Jared Smith announced on social media that he received a scholarship offer from head coach Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes.

Smith has great size as a OL as he is 6-foot-5, 325-pounds, he is coming from Woodland High School in Stockbridge and was another offensive lineman who left the Miami camp with an offer in tow. 

We caught up on him after the camp and what was his first impressions on the Hurricanes and here is what he said:

“My first impressions on the offer was “omg i got a big offer” i was and still am extremely blessed and grateful for the offer.”

Jared adds another offer from a power five school as he holds offers from Colorado State, Georgia, Georgia State, Memphis, and UNLV.

He is not yet rated on the 247Sports website but that surely will surely soon change.
