Miami Preseason Bowl Projections

Miami Preseason Bowl Projections

Miami’s 2024 season doesn’t kick off until next Saturday, but today marks the start of Week Zero, so we’ve got a fresh batch of bowl projections to pore over. One potential postseason destination will excite the Hurricanes Nation. The other? Well, it’s within driving distance.

Let’s start with the latter. Brett McMurphy has Miami in the College Football Playoffs as a 3 seed, yes a 3 seed, playing in the All-State Sugar Bowl on January 1st. The Canes however will be a 15-point underdog versus the Bulldogs.

Over at CBS Sports, Jerry Palm has the Canes playing in a different bowl but in the College Football Playoffs as the Hurricanes will be a 10 seed taking on the seventh-seed Alabama Crimson Tide.

So with both of these two picking us as top teams in the College Football Playoffs seems like you can see us in the Playoffs.
