After the scare against Virginia, the Miami Football team and the CT staff need to get back on track, but Miami’s performance was so not that bad, but it left us questioning this team.

So, what better opponent to bounce back against than NC State? The Wolfpack are 5-3 this season, 2-2 in ACC play, the Hurricanes are only a 4.5-point favorite in Vegas.

Who will prevail? It’s time for the CT crew to share our predictions.

Not gonna lie, I’ve been putting off thinking about this game as long as possible. Combine the scary win against Virginia and Clemson, it feels like the stakes are much higher. Win and the dreams you had for the season are very much back on the table. Lose and things could snowball the rest of the way.

The Canes are capable of winning this game; if they play like they did vs. Texas A&M. NC State They are also coming off of a win against Clemson, The Wolfpack are 1-2 on the road. That said, they have a very good rushing attack and Miami can’t afford the mistakes they made vs. Virginia.

Like I said, Miami can win, but I’ve seen this story too many times to have faith that they will.

Score: NC State 27, Miami Hurricanes 24

  1. By the way, it’s now -5.5. I like the Canes. Beating Clemson is no barometer this year. Without “take-a-knee-gate”, the Canes are 6-1. NCState has not impressed anyone and The U leads in most stat categories offense and defense. The Canes are not looking ahead to FSU, that is a pipe dream.
Coach MC is quietly saying TVD is healthier than ever since game 2. The OLine can run the football on NCState D.
