Miami Womens Basketball: Miami’s Womens Basketball Stats After A Team Wins Against European Players

The University of Miami women’s basketball team opened overseas action with a 75-to-63 victory over I Can Play Saturday night at The One Ball.

Here are some game stats I got from the game and notify that these games in Paris are not televised or streamed.

Player Stats:

Lemyah Hylton: two points, three rebounds, one block

Jasmyne Roberts: five points, four rebounds, two steals

Jaida Patrick: eight points, three rebounds, one steal

Ja’Leah Williams: 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists

Lashae Dwyer: 10 points, one rebound, two steals

Ally Stedman: 5 points, one rebound, one steal

Shayeann Day-Wilson: 13 points, five steals

Lazaria Spearman: five points, three rebounds

Kyla Oldacre: nine points, six rebounds, three steals

” I thought tonight was an incredible performance by a team who is just getting to know each other,” head coach Katie Meier said. ” We were playing a team who is made up almost entirely of professional European players, so it was a great challenge for us. I thought everyone really contributed and we’re going to need everybody this year, so it is a sign of things to come.

As a team, the Hurricanes attacked the rim, registering 27 free throw attempts and sinking 21 shots at the charity stripe.

“I think we really tried to establish getting to the free throw line,” Meier said. “It was really important that we were aggressive to the rim and that was a huge part of the game tonight.”
