Michael Badgley to miss the 2024-25 season with a leg injury

Friday afternoon, the Detroit Lions announced that former Miami Hurricane Michael Badgley, he suffered a season-ending leg injury while warming up for practice on Thursday, leading to the Lions placing him on injured reserve.

 Last season, he played in four games, knocking through four field goals and 13-of-15 extra point attempts.

Badgley secured the Lions’ kicking position midway through the 2024 season and made some key kicks, notably a 54-yard field goal in the Wild Card game against the Los Angeles Rams. During his two years in Detroit, Badgley successfully converted 24 of 28 regular-season field goals and 46 of 48 extra points.
