No. 1 TE in 2026 nearing a top six decision, Miami is a top priority

The number one tight end in the class of 2026 Kendre Harrison will trim his decision to just six on July 15th with the Hurricanes being a top priority for him after coming off of a official visit to Coral Gables last month in June.

According to 247 there is a couple school that they will know that will make the cut. Those schools are Miami, North Carolina and Penn State.

Reidsville (NC) high school tight end Kendre Harrison is the No. 1 ranked prospect at his position in the class of 2026 according to 247Sports. The 6-7, 240-pounder is listed as the No. 6 overall talent that cycle as well.

Kendre is a two sport star athlete that he plays basketball and football and is being highly recruited in both of the sports.

You won’t find many players more physically impressive than Harrison. He was a menace on both sides of the ball for Reidsville as a sophomore. On offense, he hauled in 62 receptions for 940 yards and 16 touchdowns. That’s an average of 15.2 yards per reception.

The 6-7, 235-pound athlete was also stellar on the defensive side of the football. He finished the 2023 season with 76 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss and nine sacks. Harrison also had another 30 quarterback hurries, eight pass breakups and two forced fumbles.
