On3’s updated 2025 player rankings include several five-star Miami targets
As Jim Larranaga looks to put the finishing touches on Miami’s impressive 2024 recruiting class, the 2025 class might actually have the deeper, more talented group of high school prospects.
On Monday morning, On3 updated their 2025 On3 150 basketball player rankings. This is the fifth update for this cycle (the first since October) and the third with a full top 150. Of the 10 high school juniors that Miami has extended scholarships to so far, all of them were ranked among On3’s top 25 including six five-star prospects in the top 10.

- No. 2 (5-star) – Cameron Boozer (PF) 6-9, 205 | Christopher Columbus (Miami, FL)
- No. 5 (5-star) – Isiah Harwell (SG) 6-5, 190 | Wasatch Academy (Mount Pleasant, UT)
- No. 7 (5-star) – Meleek Thomas (SG) 6-3, 175 | Lincoln Park (Pittsburgh, PA)
- No. 14 (4-star) Joson Sanon (SG) 6-5, 180 | Vermont Academy (Fall River, MA)
- No. 25 (4-star) – Cayden Boozer (PG) 6-3, 190 | Christopher Columbus (Miami, FL)
As things currently stand, Miami does not yet have a commitment from the 2025 class, but of the 6 recruits listed above, the Hurricanes are either considered frontrunners or are among the top two or three choices in the majority of them.
