Miami Hurricanes point guard Nijel Pack named Player of the Game after a 95-82 win over the No. 16 team in the country the Clemson Tigers.

Nijel pack led the team in scoring with him having 20 of his 25 points in the second half in his return to the lineup after a two-week injury absence.

Three Miami Hurricanes players got past 20 points against the Tigers tonight, those players were Nijel Pack with (25), Norchad Omier (23), and Matthew Cleveland with 23 points. Coming up behind them is a stud SF freshman Kyshawn George with him accomplishing 12 points all of his points came from the first half he started to quiet down in the second half cause of Clemson making adjustments.

As a team, Miami shot a combined 53.0 percent from the field despite a sloppy first half. The ‘Canes only turned the ball over 8 times against the Tigers defense tonight. The Tigers finished just 46 percent from the floor and a poor 11-30 from long range.

At the intermission, Clemson was up 41-35 behind a combined Kyshawn George (12) and Matthew Cleveland (9). Cleveland also chipped in seven points and two rebounds in the first half of action as UM shot just under 50 percent from the field and over 40 percent from long range. On the other end, Clemson was held to just 42.9 percent overall shooting at the midway point. At half Pack only had 5 points so he had a dominate second half.

The Hurricanes will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons it will not be easy going up in their place and winning with their record sitting at 10-3 (2-0) in conference play.
