Raptors Bruce Brown will be staying in Toronto with a $23 million team option for next season

With all the rumours and all the craziness involved around the Raptors it been reported yesterday afternoon that former Miami Hurricanes guard Bruce Brown will stay with the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors are exercising Brown’s $23 million player option for 2024-25 on Friday.

Now if you ask me $23 million is a steep price to pay for a player who likely would have come off the bench. But hey whatever to make Bruce Brown stay right?

Brown did have a significant blow to his knee making him sit out a couple of games, ad that made it really tough on Brown to get going in Toronto.

As he finished up his season at the Raptors he ended up averaging 9.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
