REPORT: Miami 4-star LB Commit Elijah Melendez Will Make His Final Decision On His Commitment After OV With Miami
Miami Hurricanes 2025 four-star linebacker commit Elijah Melendez recruitment has the Hurricanes fans in shambles with the fans thinking he will recommit from the Hurricanes. I talked to him myself and I can comfortably say right now he is not going now here but he has told 247Sports that he will make his final decision on his commitment after he takes a official visit to Miami June 21.
Melendez also said this about Mario Cristobal and the coaching staff recruiting him.” they did everything right, and all I can say is I love it.”
Melendez is the No. 23 linebacker and 189th overall prospect in the country according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. And on the Rivals rankings he’s rated as the 2nd best linebacker in the country.
He been taking multiple visits to multiple power houses such as Auburn, Michigan, Penn State, Oklahoma and more, but he is locked in on the Hurricanes it seems so.
