Staying Home? How does Miami stand for 4-Star RB Javian Mallory

Coral Gables, FL- It’s well established that Coach Cristobal and his staff love recruiting out of the local South Florida talent pool.

Every recruiting cycle, the Miami Hurricanes secure numerous commitments from the finest talents in the state of Florida. As recruitment for the 2026 class begins to heat up, following the post June 15 dead period, theres one name that stands out amongst the rest: Javian Mallory.

Javian Mallory is a 4-star, ON300 running back from West Boca Raton High School. Over the past two seasons, Javian has proven himself to be one of the top backs in the state of Florida.

Mallory is a strong and physical runner. He pairs his 6 foot, 200 pound frame with a 4.5 40 to make a defense’s life hell for an entire game. Javian sounds the rock, wearing the defense down. When your team is completely broken down, Javian’s touched the end zone numerous times during the game.

Javian’s impressive play style has garnered him 39 Official Division I offers. Mallory has held an offer from Miami since May 2023.

Over the past year, Coach Cristobal and his staff have been “active” throughout Mallory’s recruitment process. When asked about how Miami’s played a role in his recruiting process, Javian shared:

“Miami’s very high on my list.” Mallory stated. “Coach Cristobal staff makes me feel at home every time I’m down. They genuinely have love for my family. Miami is making it very hard for me to leave Florida.”

Every day draws closer to the talented 4-Star’s decision day. Will Javian Mallory commit to Miami? Only time will tell.
