What can we take away from Miami’s 67-57 loss to Boston College?

Miami is now 2nd from last in ACC play.

What can we take away from Miami’s 67-57 loss?

Empty Seats – Several of Watsco Center’s seats were left empty Wednesday afternoon for Miami’s loss against GT, The low turnout could be attributed to several things: a sign of the times, high school basketball games around the state, a very important basketball game across town tomorrow?

Norchad Omier – Norchad Omier had a really good game for the Hurricanes, scoring 10 points on 4-11 from the field. He was able to get to the rim and score and played hard defense. Omier added ten rebounds and one assist to the box score. It was an ugly loss for the Hurricanes, but Omier was a bright spot.

For the first time in 20 years Miami has lost eight in a row – After losing against Virginia, North Carolina, Clemson, Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Boston College again the Miami Hurricanes have their first eight-game losing streak since 20 years. Back in the day, and Miami has to find a way to defend its home better.

Lineups are very questionable – I know we saw Nijel Pack go out, but these lineups that coach Jim Larranaga is putting out there are very questionable. Larranaga’s team was down 52-48 and he put in this lineup, Bensley Joseph, Jakai Robinson, Paul Djobet, Michael Nwoko, and Norchad Omier, that lineup I named is full of inexperienced players, it was just a though of mine that I had in the back of my head and I had to get it out.
