Today is all about getting back to work, regrouping and refocusing as Miami Football starts Week 9 of its college football season, (man has it flown by). Miami needs to win this game to keep there conference championship hopes alive, The Virginia Cavaliers are coming into this game HOT, unless if you were living under a rock this past Saturday Virginia had probably the biggest upset in Week 8, the Cavaliers came into Kenan Memorial Stadium, and beat the Tarheels 31-27 snapping the Tarheels winning streak. The Cavaliers come to town being underdogs, as much of us expected. Before a 3:30 p.m kickoff in Hard Rock let’s get you ready for this game in Miami Gardens.

Miami football opens as a comfortable favorite against Virginia

The folks in Las Vegas are calling for a Miami win, when Virginia comes to Miami Gardens this weekend.

According to the DraftKing Sportsbooks, Miami has opened as a 18.5-point favorite against the Cavaliers with the over/under set at 49.5. Virginia is coming off a tough fought 31-27 win against North Carolina last Saturday while the Hurricanes beat the Clemson Tigers 28-20. Kickoff at Hard Rock is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28 at 3:30 p.m. EST on ACCN.

Looking at ESPN’s Matchup Predictor, the analytics are giving the ‘Canes a 91.4 percent chance to beat Virginia.

Miami showed incredible focus and performance against Clemson. That will need to continue next week (and every week, please) as the season continues.
