Three Takeaways From Miami’s Win Over No. 16 Clemson Tigers

Woo Wee, what a game, what a game, the Hurricanes took down the No. 16 ranked team the Clemson Tigers in a 95-82 game shootout.

CanesToday owner and contributor Trinton Breeze will take you to three takeaways from Miami’s win over Clemson.

Kyshawn George – Miami Hurricanes forward Kyshawn George was having a ball game in the first half against the Clemson Tigers, first half George was leading the Miami Hurricanes stats in scoring with him having 12 points for three rebounds, he ended up finishing with 12 If he played like he did tonight he will have a very bright and professional future ahead of him.

The Crowd Made A Difference – Yes, even without the Cat 5 student section not there you all made a difference in this ball game, after Matthew Cleveland stole a pass and then slammed the ball on the other side coming out of a TV timeout the crowds energy started to feed off of that moment, now just imagine how loud it would of been when the Hurricanes student section is not on break.

Miami’s offense was too much for Clemson’s defense – The Hurricanes offense was just playing lights out from the arc and when Clemson would miss the Hurricanes would push it right away and try to score in the paint which the Hurricanes did successfully, this offense is not even at it’s full potential with Wooga Poplar out, but like I said Kyshawn George is doing the job right now, Miami would just swing the ball left and right getting wide after wide open shots and they started falling late first half.

The Hurricanes will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons it will not be easy going up in their place and winning with their record sitting at 10-3 (2-0) in conference play.
