Updated Joe Lunardi Bracketology projects a challenging schedule for Miami in 2024-25
College basketball season is still approximately two months awayof the regular season, but there’s always room for some preseason thoughts.
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi released a new update to his preseason 2025 Bracketology. Once again, he placed Miami as a seventh seed, a position they have held since June. In the first round of the Midwest Region in Lexington, Lunardi has Miami taking on Illinois.
A win in the opening round would move Miami into a potential Round of 32 matchup against Auburn and Bruce Pearl. Lunardi has Auburn taking on 15-seed Fort Wayne in the first round. Kansas is the projected top seed in the region.
