Vanderbilt transfer S Savion Riley schedules an Miami official visit this weekend

Hurricanes coaching staff is looking to reload this safety group, cause Miami loses both James Williams and Kamren Kinchens to the draft.

One name CanesToday can confirm the Hurricanes have contacted is Vanderbilt’s Savion Riley, who fielded a call from Miami early Monday morning after officially entering the portal. The plan is to get Riley on an official visit this weekend with the program expected to host multiple transfers.

In he 2023 season at Vanderbilt Riley recorded 48 total tackles, 34 of those being solo tackles, and 14 being assist tackles.

His best game came from when they played Florida, he recorded 2 tackles with 9 solo and 3 assist tackles.
