Was the J.D. Arteaga hire a very lazy hire for the Miami Baseball program?

Now that the Miami Hurricanes baseball team wrapped up their disappointing season Saturday the Hurricanes finished their record of 27-30 and 11-19 in conference play.

So now that the Hurricanes are getting back home and resting the fanbase got to think was the Arteaga hire a very lazy hire in the offseason of last season?

When it came time to hire the replacement, Miami stayed in-house and promoted pitching coach J.D. Arteaga to head coach this past summer. Arteaga, much like DiMare, played for Miami and has been serving on the coaching staff for over two decades.

But when coming into this season the Hurricanes had high hopes and expected to see an appearance in the College World Series and if you fast forward to today the Hurricanes can’t even make a regional tournament.

I just wonder on how much longer the Hurricanes baseball team is going to hang on to him, but what do you all think are you all still all aboard on the J.D. train?
