Wichita State WBB forward Daniela Abies transfers to Miami
Tricia Cullop has made her first major splash at Miami.
On Monday night, forward Daniela Abies announced on social media that she will be transferring to Miami, She was 3rd team all AAC this past season.
Abies will have two more years of eligibility left.
Abies led Wichita State in scoring and rebounding last season, she averaged 13 points and 9.7 rebounds, setting the American Athletic Conference tournament single game rebounding record with 22 on March 9th against Florida Atlantic.
Abies was ranked second in the conference in total rebounds (267) and third in rebounds per game (9.2). She ranks 24th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game with 3.9.
