Wisconsin 2025 OT announces scholarship offer from Miami

A 4-star offensive tackle from Wisconsin has received a scholarship offer from the Hurricanes. Owen Strebig is 1 6-foot-8, 295-pound prospect from Catholic Memorial High School out of Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Strebig is ranked No. 130 overall and No. 13 at his position nationally according to the 247Sports composite while the On3 industry ranking has him at Nos. 102 and 10, respectively. He currently has a 247Sports crystal ball prediction for Wisconsin while On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine agrees, giving the Badgers a 28.1% chance of signing him, followed by Iowa (16.7%), Notre Dame (7.5%) and Illinois (6.2%).

The Top 150 prospect’s three-sport background is evident on film. He’s a very mobile and athletic tackle whose pulling game and ability to execute blocks in space are outstanding. That’s why he’s already juggling a wide variety of college options.

His offers list includes tons of Midwest schools like Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Purdue and Wisconsin. Outside of the region including Miami is Central Florida, Florida, Florida State, Penn State and Stanford round out his list.

Strebig is off to a very strong start to his varsity career, dominating at left tackle through Waukesha (Wisc.) Catholic Memorial’s 17-1 record over the last two seasons. Meanwhile, he’s been on the recruiting trail, visiting other schools, but he has not visited Miami yet. However, there is still plenty of time in his recruitment and see where he ends up.
