Miami is a school to look out for Former Florida State DB Greedy Vance Jr.

Miami and Mario Cristobal has been hunting on the recruiting trail since the portal opened back up four days ago, and now former Florida State defensive back Greedy Vance Jr. that just recently entered the transfer portal has been contacted by multiple teams and the Hurricanes are among some of those schools.

According to a post that Hayes Fawcett put out Miami, Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Duke, USC, Memphis, Arkansas, Tulane, Virginia Tech, and Houston have all connected Greedy Vance Jr. since he entered the portal.

Vance has already locked in two official visits to Kentucky and USC.

Vance made an immediate impact in 2022 with three interceptions, five passes defended, and 16 total tackles. He continued that trend in 2023 with another interception, four passes defended, and 18 total tackles.

In his time in Tallahassee, he had 34 total tackles (23 solo, 11 assisted), along with four interceptions and nine pass deflections.

PFF graded him as the Seminoles’ fourth-best defensive back in 2023.
