Miami is a team standing out for 2025 WR Vernell Brown III

According to a On3 post that was released yesterday afternoon 2025 wide receiver Vernell Brown lll said the Miami Hurricanes and other top choices are making a huge impact in his recruitment after he just released his top schools.

On3 has said Florida State, Florida, Ohio State along with Miami has been recruiting him hard and make him feel like a top priority.

Brown is one of the fastest players in the country as he also excels at track. On the gridiron, he racked up 70 catches for over 1,300 yards and 10 scores this past season. He also added three punt returns and one kick return for a touchdown. Brown is also featured on defense for Jones High School in Orlando, Florida.

According to 247Sports, he ranks as the No. 249 player in the country, No. 11 athlete, and No. 35 player in the state of Florida.

Trinton’s take – He would be a perfect player for an offensive mind like Mario, who could showcase his speed and elusiveness in a variety of ways. But even though his dad played at Florida, I would expect him to be a Buckeye though he is been heavily recruited by their wide receiver coach Hartline and he is very proven, but if the Hurricanes can prove to him that the Hurricanes can produce top talent at wide receiver, we will hope he will commit to Miami, but they can not sign until national signing day so even though he becomes a Buckeye early the Hurricanes can still push for him and try and flipped him from Ohio State.
